Can I be disconnected from my Tax Advisor's TaxJar account?
Yes, you can request to remove yourself from your Tax Advisor's account by reaching out to us at support@taxjar.com.
- Your Tax Advisor can also request to remove you from their TaxJar account, and if they do so, we will reach out via email to inform you of this change to your account.
If you would like to continue using TaxJar, you'll need to log in to the account, select a subscription plan and add your billing information. (You can view a list of our Plans & Pricing here.)
- You will have three days to select your subscription plan and add your billing information. If we are unable to process a payment for your account after 3 days, the account will be canceled.
- If you already had a credit card on file, this card will be automatically charged for your subscription Plan as soon as you are disconnected from the TaxJar Advisor's account.
- Or, if you no longer need TaxJar at all, you can cancel your account here, or email support@taxjar.com.
If you are enrolled in AutoFile, we have more information here on how this change will affect your enrollments.
