Why are all FBA states showing on my dashboard?

If you’ve indicated that you are an FBA seller, you could potentially have nexus with all of the states in which there are warehouses. That’s because all those states say that your inventory counts as nexus.

If you sell via Amazon FBA, TaxJar will add the  Amazon Fulfillment badge feature to your Dashboard and State Settings next to a state name to denote states where you have nexus due to FBA inventory to help you determine the states where your inventory has been stored.

• If you see an Amazon badge next to a state name, this means that we see shipments of your products coming from an Amazon warehouse in that state, which would mean that you most likely have nexus in that state.

It’s up to you to decide if you want to collect in these states or not.

• If you want to get rid of those from your dashboard, go to your State Nexus Settings and click the on the state name directly and then click the "Remove Nexus" button.
