Why did TaxJar change its pricing?
These changes allow us to continue providing the level of reliability your business depends on. This is our first price update in over six years. During this time, we have continued to invest in the platform to ensure 100% on-time filing, maintain 99.999% historical uptime, and manage hundreds of regulations annually researched by our tax experts. New pricing went into effect on October 1, 2026. For information on when and how these changes apply to your specific account, visit your Plans & Billing page. If you signed up after February 26, 2026, your current pricing remains unchanged.

Is TaxJar changing its prices because of Stripe? Is this a migration to Stripe Tax?
No. TaxJar's pricing update is driven by TaxJar’s ongoing investment in the platform. If you're a TaxJar customer today, you’re not being migrated to Stripe Tax and nothing about your relationship with TaxJar is changing.
