How to invite an existing client's Professional account to your TaxJar Advisor account?
If your client already has a TaxJar Professional account, you can invite them from your TaxJar Advisor account:
- Click the green "Add New Client" button at the top of your Client Manager and you'll see the option to invite a client to your TaxJar Advisor account.
- You'll confirm your client's TaxJar plan as either Starter or Professional.
We show you how to invite a client's Starter account here. - Upon confirming Professional, the option to select billing will automatically be selected.
*At this time, all client Professional accounts are billed directly through the client.
How to invite and set up a new client on a Professional subscription to your TaxJar Advisor account?
If your new clients do not have an existing TaxJar account, you can sign them up as Professional subscribers from within your TaxJar Advisor account.
- Click the green "Add New Client" button at the top of your Client Manager and you'll see the option to invite a client to your TaxJar Advisor account.
- Complete your client's information and select Professional.
- Upon submission, a member of our Professional team will reach out with more information!
Can I control the billing for my client's Professional account?
All Professional client accounts are required to be billed directly via TaxJar.
How do I receive my client's Professional account notifications?
When you connect your client's TaxJar account to your TaxJar Advisor account, you now are managing their TaxJar activities.
- Please note, all account and email notifications will then automatically be transferred to you.
- If your Professional client has economic nexus triggering activities, our Economic Nexus Insights feature will send the email notification to both you and the primary owner of the TaxJar Professional account. We discuss the Economic Nexus Insights feature more here.
