What's my State Registered Business Name?
  • This is the business name you provided to the state when you registered for your sales tax license.
  • It should be listed on your sales tax registration paperwork.
What's my Nevada State Tax ID?
  • Your ID starts with SUT followed by a 12-digit number without spaces or dashes.
  • You received from the state when you registered for your sales tax license.
What's my  State Login and  State Password?
  • These are the username and password used to gain access to your Nevada Tax Center online account here

What's my  State Assigned Payment Schedule?
  • This is the filing frequency assigned to you by the Nevada DOR.
  • If you're not sure of this detail for your account, you can contact the state's DOR and ask them to confirm this detail for you. (We list contact details for the states here.)
What's my  First Filing Period?
  • Pending successful verification, the period listed here is the estimated first filing period TaxJar will file.
  • The First Filing period is based on the date the enrollment form is saved and the payment schedule.

What's my  Amount Due on Return (optional)? 

  • You can find this by going to the Summary tab, selecting “View and file past returns,” opening the most recent return, then under Period Activity choosing “Sales and Use Tax Return,” and printing the summary. The amount needed is the first line, “Total Sales Tax: $,” which reflects the total tax due on a return before penalty, interest, collection allowance, or other discounts, and can be pulled from any of the last three returns. 

What's my  Payment Amount (optional)? 

  • This is the most recent payment made on the Sales & Use Tax account, including the initial payment if the account is new. To locate it, go to the More tab > Payments and Returns > Manage Payments and Filings, choose Payments in the dropdown under Show, filter for posted payments, and enter the first (most recent) payment listed.
