Florida User ID/Business Partner number
The Florida Certificate Number and Business Partner Number:
These are the details used to login to your e-file account at the Florida Department of Revenue website.
- The Certificate Number and Business Partner Number you provide for AutoFile should be associated with your Florida Sales and Use Tax account number. These details should not be associated with other types of tax accounts with the state of Florida. Can I use my Florida User ID and Password to enroll in AutoFile instead of my Certificate Number and Business Partner Number?
At this time, the User ID and Password cannot be used to enroll in AutoFile for Florida.
- Instead, because of the technology used to AutoFile your Florida returns, TaxJar needs your Certificate Number and Business Partner Number
What's my Business Partner Number?
- This is a 7 or 10 digit number assigned by the state.
- A 10 digit number must be entered to save your enrollment form. (If your business partner number is only 7 digits, insert three zeros in the front (i.e. 0001234567.)
What's my FL Certificate Number
- This is the 13 digit state certificate number you received from the state when you registered for your sales tax license. (The full certificate number will be 14 digits, but the state requires only the first 13 digits to login to the e-file website.)
- Note: You cannot substitute your Florida User Name and Password for the Certificate Number and Business Partner Number.
