How do I reset my password?

If you need to reset your password, you can do this by entering your account email address at this link

In a few minutes, you will receive an email to reset your password.

Please ensure that you type in the exact email address used to create your password. If you enter an email address that is not connected to an existing TaxJar account, the system won't be able to send you a link to reset the password.

Troubleshooting issues with the reset link

If you see the message, "Please double check the URL or try submitting the form again." being displayed with a prompt to enter the email address again, there are multiple reasons this can occur:

The link has expired

This is probably the most common reason. Password reset links are only valid for 15 minutes. The link can expire if you wait too long. Please click the link as soon as you receive it.  

The link has been used

Once a link is used to reset a password successfully, that link is no longer valid. If the password needs to be reset again, you will need to enter the email address and request a new one.

Another email has been requested

Each time a password reset email is requested, all previous links for that address are invalidated. Please use the most recent emailed link.

The link has been modified

If the URL for the link has been modified, this issue can occur. Try copying and pasting the text URL rather than clicking the active link.
