How are eBay transactions imported via Shopify displayed in TaxJar?

If you are importing the transaction using the official Shopify-eBay plugin, TaxJar can identify your eBay transactions as Marketplace exempt.

• If the transaction is Marketplace Facilitator exempt, TaxJar will indicate this under the exemption field next to the transaction.
  

  

⚠️If you are using a third party plugin integrating your sales between Shopify and eBay to import transactions. we will not be able to identify the transaction as eBay. 

• You can import your eBay marketplace-exempt transactions via CSV.
