Can I use TaxJar with PayPal Invoices or PayPal Here?
PayPal Here and PayPal Invoices are currently partially supported with TaxJar Reports.
At this time, PayPal Here and Invoices don't break down the order details in separate fields in the date sent to TaxJar, but combine the order total with the tax collected, causing our system (and Reports) to display no sales tax collected on those types of transactions.
It's possible that in the future, this may change. But, for now, we would recommend that you take the following steps to have your Reports accurately reflect the taxes you've collected:
1) Disconnect your PayPal account from the Linked Accounts page.
2) Let our Support know that you've done this step so that we can remove the data imported directly from PayPal
3) You can then upload a CSV of sales from platforms outside of our direct integrations to your TaxJar account here, and the file you upload will need to match the formatting guidelines seen on this page in order for the system to accept the file.
- For best results, we recommend using our SAMPLE CSV file (which you can download from our site) as the template to build any CSV's you intend to upload to TaxJar. (We walk you through the process of importing a CSV here.)
