Can TaxJar apply for penalty waivers and abatements for AutoFile returns?

If you're requested that TaxJar file a past due return, please note that we do not apply for penalty waivers and abatements from the state when we AutoFile overdue returns.

• When the return is filed, the state may assess penalties and interest in addition to the sales tax owed and TaxJar will AutoFile the amount that the state calculates.
