Does the TaxJar extension for Magento support product tax rules?

Magento 1 is no longer supported. New Magento 1 account connections will no longer be supported, please use the Magento 2 integration. Learn more about this here.

If you enable the TaxJar API in our latest extension with the "Enable for Checkout" setting, you can assign TaxJar category tax codes to individual product tax classes in Magento to support product exemptions by following the instructions here.

Our Magento extension's Backup Rates feature loads zip-based rates into Magento's tax tables - the rates don't include product exemptions.
